Laminated Safety Glass is manufactured by sandwiching two pieces of clear float glass together with a vinyl inter-layer (PVB- Poly Vinyl Butyral) in the middle. Laminated Safety Glass is known as a security glass and is significantly difficult to penetrate. It is up to ten times stronger than Monolithic Glass when it comes to penetration resistance.

 

Other benefits include noise reduction as well as a reduction in UV radiation.

 

Different sizes and thicknesses are available and will depend on the application and design load.
